Bentonite

Bentonite

Bentonite includes calcium & sodium silicates and is available in nature in white, gray, cream up to olive green colors. Bentonite has colloids property and absorbs moisture about 15 times more than its weight. Since it has a jelly and adhesive form, it is applied in different drilling industries and oil/gas wells, refinery & oil paint removal, environment and washing materials. Sodium bentonite is used in cast ironing industry and so on. Specific bentonite for drilling is one of the products of this company and in compliance with International OCMA, API standards.

limestone

limestone

Chemical formulation of limestone is CaCo3. It is an unsolvable material in water. It is used for increasing the weight of water base clays up to 110pcf and oil clays up to 100pcf. The specific gravity of limestone is 207gr/cm3. Since it is easily solved in acid, it is useful to be applied in oil/gas reserves as a weight-increaser material.

Mica Flack

Mica

MICA FLAKES have been preferably used in water-based and oil based oil-well drillings operations as an additive mud chemical to prevent loss of circulation and seepage. Mica is specially added to seal-off the lost circulation zones. The platy structure of mica facilitates the overlapping of particles to form a layer or wall and acts as a sealent that bridges the openings. The use of mica helps to seal porous formations and contributes to regain circulation keeping the solids in suspension.
